The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
